The Mac Museum
Take me directly to the museum –>
Over the years I’ve had some older Macs passed onto me, sometimes in lieu of payment or partial payment for a job. When I realized I had the makings of a collection, I started watching eBay and grabbing some of the more unique or significant models from 1987 on. In my old house, I had them in a shelf unit in the family room but when we moved to a bigger house I decided to take over the basement and do actual signage and the black table skirts and stuff.

Consisting of over a dozen relatively unique Mac models, as well as a handful of peripherals and other Apple products from the late eighties to the late nineties, the collection includes the following:
- Lisa II/Mac XL
- Macintosh 128K (the original Mac)
- Macintosh Plus
- Macintosh Portable
- Macintosh SE/30
- Macintosh Classic
- Macintosh Color Classic
- TEMPEST-modified Macintosh IIci
- Macintosh IIsi
- Macintosh TV
- G3 Educational (aka “molar Mac”)
- Duo Dock II w/Duo 230
- Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh
- QuickTake 100
- QuickTake 200
- eMate
- PowerCD 150
- Newton Message Pad 120
- Apple-branded set-top boxes (early prototype, also one used by British Telecom in interactive TV trials)
- TechStep diagnostic unit
